Trend Fall 2011 Trend - Le Smoking

 

1975年一代傳奇大師Yves Saint Laurent 拍下了這一張"Le Smoking"，一個女人穿上男仕的tuxedo suit，手上一根煙，就是這一刻他告訴我們女人也有著剛強的一面，甚至比男人更能撐得起半邊天。自此tuxedo suit 成了女強人的象徵，每一季都是少不了的設計; Fall 2011 更能顯示這個設計的地位，CHANEL、Dolce & Gabbana、Jason Wu 等不約而同地有著同樣的概念; 新世代的設計除了顯示出女生的剛強，亦都加上lace、透視等元素同時表現女生的嬌媚。

Gavin Rajah SS/12 Collection @ Cape Town Fashion Week

While we were sleeping our summer away, Cape Town Fashion Week happened back in July. Amongst the highlights of the Spring Summer 2012 catwalk shows would have to be Gavin Rajah, who presented an amazing 70-piece Collection for SS/12.
Made up of free-flowing dresses, tailored pant suits, chic, sexy separates, and beautiful bags — there’s truly something for everyone’s tastes. While the SS/12 Collection perhaps could have used a bit of editing (we did find some of the styling a tad costumey), Rajah was on the money with his playful exploration of bold colour and print. see more http://talldarkroast.com/

Cocoon Project @ Oslo Fashion Week

In the spirit of supporting Industry growth, and welcoming some of the hottest new talents onto the scene, Cocoon Project is a collaboration between Oslo Fashion Week and three of the top fashion schools in Norway — ESMOD, The Oslo National Academy of the Arts, and Oslo University College.
Three students are hand-picked from each school, making up 9 in total — whom are chosen by a jury to show their Graduating Collections at Oslo Fashion Week — an event which is quickly becoming one of Northern Europe’s most promising new Fashion Weeks in recent times.
